Sydney was a great place to visit and hopefully will get back there one day. The comprehensive Ferry terminus down at the Circular Quay in Sydney Harbour provides a great way to explore various places around the bay such as Manly Beach (similar to Bondi beach) and Toroenga Zoo. You can also catch the Bus to Bondi Beach at the back of the Quay ( no: 333).
Sydney Harbour is a great place to be at night with the opera house lit up along with the bridge and surrounding buildings, and many people at the various restaurants dotted around Harbour area,
Darling Harbour is also a great place to visit both day and night for similar reasons.

As an ex-Sydney person and having friends from Melbourne with us it served the purpose on our mini 2 day holiday for going to.a symphony at the Opera House and for doing some short trips such as the ferry (take one of the slow ones preferably as that's much better then the fast ferries) to manly and back. Thi is, I consider, a must for visitors toSydney. Wonderful places to visit on a short stay eg Town Hall, St Andrews Cathedral, St James Cathedral, Opera House, Hyde park and its war memorial, Paddy's Markets, Queen Victoria Building, Art Gallery.

I like catching the tram to Circular Quay and the ferry to all the stops to explore for the day. I connect with local buses. Balmain, Double bay, Darling Harbour are all worth visiting and each has different qualities and attractions. I always visit the Art Galleries and the Westfield tower especially at dusk to watch the sunset. The city has many arcades to explore and the Queen Victoria Building is a must see just for its architecture and the shops are unique and eclectic. You can Bus to Bondi and walk along an undulating coastal track. We walked to Coogee. Each cove has cafes and beaches to explore. China town food halls are great for yummy inexpensive food. Lots to see.

As a new Zealander, flying into Sydney, I find the train from the airport is wonderful and both trains and bus trips using my Opal travel card makes this city easy to get around. I was amazed at the number of great shopping malls, theatres and lovely beaches there were. Riding the ferries is a highlight!

It has become to expensive, unfriendly, atrocious roads , selfish people !!! It reminds me of old time New York. Sydney clean up your act , I lived in Sydney for 25 years
I have stayed in many hotels and this was the best. It is a small boutique hotel and some rooms like I had were very small. I knew this and it was perfect for me. The room had everything I needed and more and was so well thought out. Loved the Nespresso coffee machine and the bed was super comfortable and pillows amazing. A small cafe at reception and the food was excellent. I loved the place and will stay again. Great location too with 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour. Premium on a reasonable price.
The location of this hotel is just perfect ! Very Well connected by trams , (just outside the the hotel ) close to wynyard station, ferry area at circular quay, Sydney CBD area , Woolworths Metro is across the street . We booked a 2 bedroom apartment - comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 2 teen kids. The bedrooms were separate from the kitchen and lounge . Apartment was well equipped with all the basic amenities .
The hotel front office staff was helpful , friendly and available on call.
Location is excellent. One of cheapest hotels in Sydney with awesome views. Great pub downstairs. And there’s another bar on L4 with a number of lounges to sit in. Restaurant/bar on L5 but more formal-no flip flops allowed. Lovely staff and old historical building. Walk outside literally down some steps and you’re on the harbour. 15 minutes walk to opera house or you can cut through The Rocks area and walk in 5 minutes. The city is 10 minutes walk the other direction so everything is nearby.
The Fullerton is located on George Street, one of Sydney’s main thoroughfares, with easy access to Circular Quay, the Rocks and other city attractions. This very modern, 5-star hotel sits behind a historic post office, making for a very attractive combination of the historic and the modern. Our room was a little small, but very comfortable and staff were responsive to requests for coffee and mugs. We were expecting a smaller, more intimate hotel but were very pleased with our experience.
Great hotel location at Sydney International Airport for early morning flight. Car parking directly next to the hotel. Room was spacious and bed & pillows were very comfortable. Staff at check in and check out we’re very friendly and super efficient. Great bar, where food can be purchased and eaten, along with a refreshing drink. Great atmosphere to get you into holiday mode. Recommend anyone to stay here. Location can’t be beaten and represents good value.
Parking efficient; check-in very professional; the room was very comfortable and bigger than most hotels. The combination of the heritage and the way it has been modernised makes it a pleasure to come “home” to. My fathers office was in the building when it was a government location in the 1960’s. We have stayed there before and we will be back.
We stayed here because CBD pricing was exuberant due to a city marathon the following morning so it was a bit of a mission returning to Olympic Park after a night in the city however this is no fault of the hotel but something to keep in mind for others. Staff were lovely. Parking convenient but pricey. Bed was comfortable.
We never stayed here. Booking was confirmed and they never replied to us about meeting us with a key. We tried all afternoon, once we arrived in Sydney and we even waited at the apartment with no contact from the number supplied for the booking. Leaving us having to find accommodation elsewhere at 10pm on a Friday night.
Hotel staff were absolutely amazing the rooms were fantastic I do have to point out I had a suite.
Hotel is in a fantastic location only 10 minutes from the harbour make sure you get a room high up with views of the clock tower one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in.
I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Right in the middle of the CBD, a few minutes away from Circular Quay, Opera House, QVB, Darling Harbour. There are also tram and underground train stops nearby, including easy connection to the airport. Breakfast was good normal continental one. Staff was friendly. Room was comfortable and clean.
This is a very centrally located hotel. I had meetings in Sydney CBD so they are all within walking distances from the hotel. I really liked it when front office staff allowed me to check in at around 10:00AM which was fantastic after some 8 hours flight. The Gym is decent and so were the pool.
Good location in Sydney with a number of eating and drinking places close by. The hotel is well setup but keep in mind that like a lot of other reasonably priced hotels in central Sydney it's a hostel style.. IE toilet, shower and kitchen are separate from the room, which was comfortable.
Honestly one of the nicest Sydney hotels I’ve stayed in! The room was very spacious, and incredibly clean. It was also handy having a fully equipped kitchen. The location is fantastic - really close to the airport and there are nearby eateries and a grocery store.
Great location and parking which was $50 / day (reasonable compared to other hotels) stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was comfortable and spacious. Price was reasonable for an apartment in CBD. Staff were lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
1. Breathtaking atmosphere from heritage style of building
2. Very good location for those tourist from inside or outside of Australia to explore sydney CBD
3. Bigger room compare to other hotels in Sydney(based on delux room)
4. Reasonable room fare
Good lower-priced hotel in Sydney CBD. I was given a room upgrade by Peter at check-in and had a fabulous view over the city. The staff were very nice and the range of food at breakfast was good. I appreciated happy hour too.
Very convenient location in Sydney CBD, close to Barangaroo wharf, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pitt Street Mall. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Spacious apartment with ample kitchen to cook in.
the team from booking to checking out were above our expectations with the best customer service experience I have had compared to 5 star hotels in Sydney CBD
Easy walk from the train station from CBD to the hotel. Then easy shuttle from hotel to airport the next day ($10 per person). Staff were very friendly.
